aku buat latihan hidraulik yang nak dihantar hujung minggu nie...subjek nie penting gak sebab 3 jam kredit yang mempengaruhi pointer... susah gak sebab subjek ini ada problem solving yang banyak memikir....dlm subjek ini tajuk awalnya iaitu open channel yang mana semua tajuk2 kecik banyak formula yang perlu dihafal....kena banyak simpan gak dalam memori dah makin bertambah umur makin banyak lupa...

A rectangular channel is 4m wide and carries a discharge of 10m3/s at a uniform flow depth of 1.8m. A board crested weir is to be placed in this channel for flow control.
a) Determine the type of flow. Ans: Subcritical)
b) Calculate the critical weir height for this channel. ( Ans:∆Zc=0.61)
c) Plot the flow profile around this structure if it is built at
i. 0.3 m (Ans: y1=1.8m,y2=1.45m, y3=1.8m)
ii. 0.8m (Ans: y1=1.8m,y2=1.45m, y3=1.8m)
Solution:
Given, B = 4m, Q = 10m3/s , y0 = 1.8m
a) q=Q/B, 10/4 = 2.5 m
